HAND:ET partners from UNI Graz presented collaborative action research model that can support teachers in responding to learners’ diversity in the classrooms.
As one of the focuses of the HAND:ET project is to empower teachers for the complexity of everyday working life s and enable them to deal flexibly with new challenges, in the last webinar we opened up the topic of supporting teachers with including all students.
Lisa Paleczek, PhD and Barbara Gasteiger-Klicpera, PhD, representatives of the UNI Graz – University of Graz, shared their experience from the Erasmus+ project Reaching the 'Hard to Reach' (2017-2020) where they implemented participative approach based on the child-teacher dialogue.
Lecturers provided the overview of the inclusive inquiry, a collaborative action research model which requires teachers and students to participate actively as research partners alongside colleagues from universities. Main aim is improving the classroom practices by reconsidering existing thinking and practices and breaking down existing barriers for inclusion of all students.
