Guidelines for policy and practice

HAND: Empowering Teachers Guidelines for upscaling the HAND:ET Programme across the EU and other countries (not participating in the project) were developed, taking into consideration the evaluation of the HAND: Empowering Teachers system for SEDA learning of teachers (whole-school teams) and policy study conducted.

The overall goal was to model the system-level solutions for support of SEDA education across the EU. The Guidelines set out EU-level and country-specific recommendations addressing structural problems of the teaching profession today in an evidence-based way. It outlines the conditions needed for the scalability, transferability and sustainability of the HAND:ET outcomes in the broader area of the teachers SEDA competencies and teachers professional development.
