Supporting the teacher well-being: Key for the prevention of teacher burnout and drop-out from the profession
The topic that is increasingly at the forefront of researchers', policy makers' and school leaders' attention is teacher well-being and its possible consequences, spanning from enlarged work engagement and teaching enthusiasm to stress, burnout and teacher attrition.

Representatives of the ISRZ – Institute for Social Research in Zagreb, HAND:ET lead partner in developing the theoretical overview of the core concepts, implementing the program in Croatia and supporting the upscaling of the results on the national policy level, Jelena Matić Bojić, Ph.D., Iris Marušić, PhD and Ivana Pikić Jugović, PhD, will in their presentation, enrich the theoretical and empirical viewpoints with the examples from their work as trainers in the HAND:ET program for teachers, principals and school counsellors. Special emphasis will be put on the well-being of early-career teachers who are especially in risk of developing adverse outcomes in their first years of service.
