Learn more about final national dissemination events in Austria!
On February 2, 2024, numerous interested parties from across Austria and from various professional backgrounds gathered at the picturesque Meerscheinschloessl in Graz to participate in the Final Dissemination Event of the HAND:ET project. Engaging content was presented, sparking not only the curiosity of the participants but also lively discussions about the project's outcomes and results.
One of the highlights was the captivating lecture by Helle Jensen, who enthralled the audience with her insights and experiences. Following the event on February 2, the Graz HAND:ET team and Helle Jensen continued their mission and proceeded directly to the HAND:ET Closing Weekend from February 3 to 4, 2024, at the Nature Hotel Klugbauer. Here, they welcomed over 50 teachers and school leaders from various schools.
The participants came not only from primary and secondary education but also from the Graz Security Academy, highlighting the versatility and relevance of the HAND:ET project for all types of schools. Both those who had already participated in the trainings during the implementation phase and those who had not yet had any contact with the project were engaged and interested. The exchange of ideas regarding the content and results of the HAND:ET project was also significant during the closing weekend, providing a valuable opportunity to gain insights and broaden individual perspectives.
Particularly exciting for the participants was the opportunity to try out and experience the training content. This hands-on approach allowed teachers and school leaders to not only acquire theoretical knowledge but also gain experience with mindfulness-based approaches and diversity-related topics.
The Final Dissemination Event in Graz and the Closing Weekend in the Styrian countryside were therefore not only opportunities to present the content and results of the HAND:ET project but also to promote active participation within the educational community. The success of these events reflects the relevance and interest in mindfulness and diversity in the daily lives of educators and underscores the importance of projects like HAND:ET for the future of education.
